Short answers to the questions that come up most. Each links to the fuller explanation.

Accounts and access

Do I need an invitation code to sign up?

It depends on the deployment. When Kolfly is running invite-only, you are asked for a code before you can continue, and the sign-in screen warns you in advance. When it is open, the step is skipped. You cannot change this yourself. See Creating your account.

Can one account be both a brand and a creator?

Yes. Set up each profile through its own onboarding flow, then switch between them from the profile card at the bottom of the sidebar. See Brand and Creator modes.

I switched to Creator mode on my laptop, why is my phone still on Brand?

The selected mode is stored in your browser, not on your account. Switch it separately on each device.

Why can't I change the subscription plan?

Only workspace Owners and Admins can. Members can view the pricing page but not select a plan. See Workspaces and team.

Credits and billing

What actually costs credits?

AI actions and profile scraping. Ordinary work — editing campaigns, managing your database, messaging, reviewing submissions — is free. Any action that charges shows its cost on the button first. See How credits work.

Why do I have two different credit numbers?

Brands have two pools. Plan credits come with your subscription and reset monthly. Scraping credits are what KOL Scraper spends, and are made up of a free monthly quota plus premium credits you buy. Premium scraping credits do not expire.

What happens when I run out?

A Quota Exceeded dialog appears naming the resource that ran out. From there you can buy a credit pack, upgrade your plan, or dismiss it. In KOL Scraper, Find KOLs is disabled once scraping credits reach zero.

Do unused monthly credits roll over?

No. Plan credits reset each billing cycle. Premium scraping credits and purchased packs behave differently — those do not expire.

Do creators pay anything?

No. Joining campaigns, submitting posts, listing services, and receiving payouts are all free. Creators only spend credits if they use the AI writing tools.

Campaigns

What is the difference between Campaign and Content Bounty?

Campaign ranks creators from your own KOL Database against a brief and returns a shortlist. Content Bounty publishes an open brief that creators find themselves, and pays them per thousand views on content they post.

Why is my campaign budget unavailable for other things?

The full budget of a Content Bounty is locked while the campaign runs. Unused budget returns to your workspace balance once the campaign is finalised or cancelled.

Can I edit a Content Bounty after launching it?

Only while it is a draft. Once active you can pause, resume or cancel it, but not edit it.

Why does the Analytics tab do nothing?

It is not available yet. The tab is visible but disabled.

Finding creators

Which platforms can KOL Scraper search?

TikTok and Instagram. YouTube, X / Twitter and LinkedIn appear in the interface marked Soon and cannot be selected.

Why did my search return fewer creators than I asked for?

Two things cap it. The maximum result count is 100 for standard accounts, and it is further reduced to what your remaining scraping credits cover.

My job finished but nothing new appeared in my database.

Every profile it found was already there. The job card says so when this happens.

Creators

Why can't I join a campaign?

Most often your social account is not connected, or not yet verified. Both can be fixed on the campaign page itself. Other blockers, such as a minimum follower requirement or the campaign not being open yet, show as a warning and cannot be resolved there. See Campaigns.

My estimated earnings went down. Why?

Estimates track your live view count and move in both directions as views re-sync. The figure is final only once the campaign ends and views are finalised.

Why is my available balance negative?

A refund happened after money had already been released from escrow. The amount owed is taken from your future earnings.

Why can't I withdraw?

You need an active payout method for the currency you are viewing, and a balance above zero. IDR uses an Indonesian bank account; other currencies use Stripe. See Payouts.

Can I list the same service twice?

No. Each of the four service types can be listed once. Types you already offer are disabled when you create a new service.

Do my discount codes work at checkout?

Not yet. You can create and manage promotions, but redemption at checkout is not available in this version.
