Terms used across Kolfly, with the meaning they carry in the product.

Core terms

KOL — Key Opinion Leader. Kolfly's term for an influencer or creator. The KOL Database, KOL Scraper and KOL Marketplace all refer to the same kind of person.

Brand mode — The side of Kolfly for marketers and agencies: finding creators, running campaigns, and buying creator services.

Creator mode — The side for people who make content: building a profile, joining campaigns, selling services, and getting paid.

Workspace — The container for a brand's KOL database, campaigns, members and billing. Brand work happens inside one. Higher plans allow more than one.

Credits — What AI actions cost. Shown on the button before you run the action. See How credits work.

Scraping credits — A separate pool that KOL Scraper spends, made of a free monthly quota plus premium credits you buy. Premium scraping credits do not expire.

Campaign terms

Campaign — A brief that Kolfly ranks your existing KOL Database against, returning a shortlist with a match score per creator. Not the same as Content Bounty.

Content Bounty — An open brief with a budget. Creators find it, post content on their own accounts, and are paid per thousand views. The opposite direction to a Campaign.

Objective — What a campaign is meant to achieve: Brand Awareness, Brand Safety, Conversion, Lead Generation, Revenue Generation or Traffic.

Shortlist — The ranked set of creators a Campaign produces, each with a rank, a match percentage and a summary.

Strategy Guru — The AI chat panel on the campaign screens. Reference documents uploaded to a campaign inform its answers.

Reward per 1,000 views — The rate a Content Bounty pays creators, based on the views their post earns.

Reserved budget — Content Bounty budget locked while the campaign runs. It cannot be spent elsewhere, and any unused portion returns to your balance when the campaign is finalised or cancelled.

Escrow — Money owed to a creator that is not yet withdrawable. It releases 72 hours after the related work is completed.

Finalised — The point at which view counts stop moving and estimated earnings become a fixed payout.

Creator terms

Follower tier — A size band used in search and filtering: Nano is 1K–10K, Micro is 10K–100K, Mid is 100K–500K, Macro is 500K–1M, and Mega is 1M and above.

Niche — A content category on a creator's profile, such as beauty, gaming or fitness. Brands filter by it, so it affects whether you are found.

Verification — Confirming you control a social account, done by placing a code in your profile bio. Required before you can join most campaigns. It cannot be bought.

Storefront — A creator's public page, published at a Kolfly address using a slug you choose. Brands can browse and book services from it.

Service — A packaged offer a brand can book: Buzzer video, Clipping, Endorsement or UGC video. Each can be listed once per creator.

Scope note — The short description on a service that sets expectations about what is and is not included.

Turnaround — Delivery time in days, set by the creator on each service.

Ledger — The record of every event that changed a creator's balance, including order payments, escrow releases, withdrawals and adjustments.

Pipeline and status terms

Qualified — A KOL Database tab and badge for creators you have vetted and want to keep separate from the rest.

Archive — A KOL Database tab for creators you want out of your main view without deleting them.

Outreach pipeline — The fourteen-stage board tracking each creator conversation, from Identified through to Completed, Declined or Unresponsive.

Collaboration — A record tracking one brand-to-creator partnership from first contact to completion, started from the KOL Marketplace.

Participation status — Where a creator stands in a Content Bounty: joined, submitted, pending review, approved, rejected, and later syncing views, eligible, finalised or paid.

Billing terms

Campaign fee — The percentage Kolfly takes on campaign spend. It falls as you move up plans, from 10% to a contracted 3–5%.

Plan credits — The monthly credit allowance included with a subscription. Resets each billing cycle.

Top-up — Adding money or credits outside your plan. Brands top up a workspace balance or buy credit packs; creators buy credits with money.

Workspace balance — Real money held in a workspace, in USD or IDR, used to fund campaign budgets.

Deep AI — A higher-quality generation mode that costs more credits than Standard. Included on Brand Pro and above; available on Starter using top-up credits.
